How do you select the businesses you call? Most businesses that are called by PBL are selected by a small local survey where the community is asked whom they recommend for different services. Additionally, we call other businesses from within your local phonebook. How was my business recommended? A small local survey was taken in your local community asking what businesses would be recommended for certain services. The details on whom performs the survey and how it is conducted varies by location. I requested not to be called anymore, why do you keep calling? As our sales persons work out of phonebooks, they may run across your business in multiple catagories. Additionally, multiple sales persons may be working your area, and may not be aware that you have Opt-Out. What length of time will my advertisement run? Length of time an advertisement will run varies by the product type. Most of our products run from 6 months to 4 years. Pharmacy Bags are targeted to work for around 1 year. What is a Vinyl Cover? A Vinyl Phone Book Cover is a protective jacket that fits over the outside of your local phone book. Each cover is custom fit and contains the most recommended businesses of a certain area. How can I tell if this product is working for me? You can run a coupon on our various bag media, or a discount for mentioning the ad on our Vinyl Phone Book Covers. You can track your advertising through these methods. I don't like my proof, can I make changes? You can fax back, reply to your email, or contact your representative to make changes. Please note your invoice number when making inquiries. Can I send in my own logo or artwork? You are always welcome to send your high quality logo, or print ready art-work. We accept almost every type of file with the exception of .biz. My proof seems blurry, is this how the final product will look? Some of the invoices will show images in an optimized way, this is for fast web download. Even if your proof is not completely clear does not reflect the final product quality. Photographs and certain logos will not reproduce on the bag media. Photographs are not recommended, clipart is always better, using one or two color. Photographs and certain logos CAN NOT be used on vinyl phone book covers. My invoice shows a balance remains, but I have paid in full? The invoices are not automatically generated or updated. Please contact your representative to get an updated invoice. What methods of payments do you accept? You may make a payment using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or via Check or Money Order. We accept payment over the phone, throught the mail, or via fax. Please call your representative for more information. How can I make an online payment? Online payments are not currently supported. Please call your representative for more information. How does the online listing work? Major search engines, like Google, index our site and grab your listing for use on the search engine. Users searching on any specific search engine, will find your listing within the search result pages, and be linked directly to your listing. Where is my online listing located? The online listings are in the Member Directory link located at the bottom of any page on our site. Normal web traffic is not expected to find this directory from within our site. Instead, major search engines, like Google, index our site and grab your listing for use on the search engine. Users searching on any specific search engine, will find your listing within the search result pages, and be linked directly to your listing. Does my online listing guarantee my place on Google and other search engines? In one word, No. Although we utilize every resource available to us to get you listed, ultimately, where and if you are listed is up to the search engine itself. |
